What an incredible experience. This was a world class experience with the utmost respect for the animals the guides work with. Every single person who works there was kind, helpful, and showed the most incredible respect for the animals. I did both the monkey and elephant experience and I was blown away by both. I cannot even put into words what it felt like to experience it. The monkeys have the most amazing enclosure and get to live as if they're in their natural habitat while being cared for and the guides understanding their needs as a wild animal and completely respecting their environment. The elephants were out of this world. Such intelligent animals and again the guides were so in tune with them and so knowledgeable. They keep a close eye to ensure all rules are being adhered to and the animals safety is their first priority while also keeping people well aware that they are indeed wild animals and you need to respect that and remember that at all times. The facilities were exquisite, clean and well maintained. The sanctuary truly puts their heart and soul into keeping this place a top notch facility. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a very personal experience. The price seems high at first until you experience it all and what goes into running a facility like this. You soon see it is well within its means and very fare. Thank you to the sanctuary for all they do for these incredible creatures, both big and small. We visited the Elephant Sanctuary with overseas visitors and the experience blew us away. It was thrilling being able to feed, brush and walk with the elephants. Then we had the chance to touch them all over and get "kisses". Absolutely wonderful experience and professional from start to finish. It had been the highlight of our South Africa visit for sure and a once in a lifetime chance to be so close to these gentle giants. - Kirsten
