It was the most wonderful experience of our lives! From the first phone call to Jacqui, to the most wonderful Engagement anyone can dream of. My children came to visit SA and wanted to get engaged, but my Son wanted it to be very special as they have not been to SA in 6 years and wanted to surprise his Fiance. And what a surprise, all thanks to Jacqui and the team (also the Elephant) at Elephant Sanctuary. Nothing could've been more special than this. The two sides f them will also write a review when they are back home after their engagement holiday, but as I was the one who had to organise it, I would also love to share our, and their, experience. The staff (Jacqui in particular) made this perfect. She was so patient with all my questions, phone calls and making sure this is a memorable experience. The Guides were incredible, the Video Guy was amazing, and of course, the Elephants! You expect them to be grand and amazing...but nothing can prepare you for the experience. You then only realise how majestic and incredible these gentle giants are. You share their world in the bush as if you are part of the wild. This is not a Zoo-like experience. This is them being where the should and want to be. And you get to be a part of it. Precious. The guides take pics and videos without you even being aware, but if it is a special occasion, do ask for the extra video, it is absolutely worth it at very little extra cost. I can simply say this, you will never be the same after this experience. But not only the majestic animals, that goes without saying...but also every single special person there who go out of their way to make this an even more wonderful experience. Excellent experience. The staff are well organised despite it being so busy. The guides were wonderful and very involved. The interaction was nothing short of amazing. The sanctuary is really beautiful and the animals have sufficient space to roam. - Trishana
