Fantastic. Have recommended to local family. Connie the guide was brilliant. The only thing I'd say is the talk at the beginning with us stood in the sun was too much. We had little kids with us and they were getting far too hot. Maybe that could be done inside where it's cooler on a hot day. Also our family of 6 was grouped with a couple and they didn't move out our way after they took pictures so they're in the centre all of our family pictures when we walked with the elephants. Perhaps someone could be mindful that people get a turn. Loved the monkeys and the guide was wonderful. They have a great home and are clearly loved! Would come back! Thanks - Laura

An Unforgettable Experience: Our Visit to the Elephant Interaction and Monkey Sanctuary! ?? Recently, my mother and I had the opportunity to visit this wonderful place, and I can say with certainty: it was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives! ? From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the energy of the place. More than a tourist outing, the visit is a true lesson in awareness. The sanctuary is extremely educational, focused on the well-being, rescue, and preservation of animals. We learned a lot about the history of each of them, their behaviors, and the vital importance of protecting them. Seeing firsthand the care, affection, and respect of the guides and caretakers for the elephants and monkeys was moving. My mother and I were completely enchanted and left with our hearts full of gratitude. It's one of those rare moments that brings us even closer to nature and creates memories for a lifetime. [?] ? Here's my invitation: if you want to experience something truly remarkable, meet incredible animals ethically, and support a noble cause, you need to visit these sanctuaries! We arrived for the 8am tour and it was fabulous! There was only four of us on the tour so we got the VIP treatment. The elephants were amazing and the guides/handlers were very friendly and knowledgable. We also loved feeding thr monkeys. This was one of the best things we did in Johannesburg by far! - Joanne

Really enjoyed all the time we had to spend with the elephants, was so much more than just feeding them. Definitely would recommend it along with the monkey sanctuary it was a nice walk up the side of a mountain which we weren't expecting and got wonderful pictures, great views, and the monkeys were so cute and entertaining - Stella

We went on many excursions while we were in South Africa, but this was by far my favorite thing we did. The monkey sanctuary was so much fun to be able to feed them and have them jump all over you and The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made it a memorable experience for us. The elephant sanctuary again was incredible so so worth the money again the guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about elephants, but then on top of that not only getting to walk with elephants, but then getting to touch them and spend time with them was something I will never forget. - Sarah
