Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary.
Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk amongst our elephants in the bush and see the Elephant Night Shelters. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them.
Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.

Quite apart from the amazing close up interaction with these magnificent animals with thanks to their handlers, I was impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and focus on visitor safety. We had a wonderful day at the elephant sanctuary appreciating these beautiful giants up close. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help take photos. We would definitely recommend a visit to learn more about elephants! Our only comment on the day was the group size. We felt that the experience of walking with the elephants wasn't as expected, the group size was so big you ended up at the front no where near the elephants or surrounded by people, not able to appreciate the animals. There were also small children in our group who made noise and shrieked on occasion when scared instead of being quiet and calm for the elephants, we felt it would be appropriate to apply an age limit. - Alice

This was the most incredible and humbling experience we have ever done. My partner and I found our guide to be exceptionally knowledgeable and has a wonderful love for the elephants.
