Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary.
Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk amongst our elephants in the bush and see the Elephant Night Shelters. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them.
Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.

This is the second time I have come to the elephant sanctuary and it did not disappoint! I brought my little girl (2 years old) for her first interaction with elephants and as a single mom, I cannot praise your team enough, everyone was so helpful, accommodating and really made it a special mama & daughter outings. At one point my daughter hurt herself and the guide (Themba) even helped me carry her back from the interaction. I love the gift shop (though it is definitely priced for tourists!) and I fully intend to be an annual visitor so my daughter gets to understand and love these beautiful animals.
