Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary.
Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk amongst our elephants in the bush and see the Elephant Night Shelters. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them.
Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.

This was a lovely experience. I went with my parents who are in their 70s and we all really enjoyed the gentleness of this experience. Not only did we enjoy interacting with the elephants but also watching others interact. The guides were great, especially our lead guide who was informative and engaging. The other guides too awesome photos for us. My only small piece of critical feedback is that I would have liked to be told to close my mouth for the elephant kiss ?. But that's a minor thing - overall we came away feeling joyful! - Nina
This was an amazing experience. I never realised how big elephants were and feeling their skin was a mind blowing experience. Elephants are truly majestic creatures and would highly recommend this to people to experience. I went there for my birthday and I throughly enjoyed my day. It was a fantastic experience. Our guide, James, was so friendly and very knowledgeable. The elephant carers clearly have a good relationship with the elephants and I felt the elephants were treated with respect at all times. I highly recommend agreeing to receive an "elephant's kiss". Make sure someone is recording and taking photos of your interaction on your mobile. - Bevin
