My wife and I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at the Elephant Sanctuary in Hartbeespoort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly, knowledgeable staff who clearly have a deep love and respect for these magnificent animals. The guides shared insightful information about each elephant, their history, behaviour, and the important conservation work being done. It was heart-warming to see how well cared for the elephants are and how much emphasis is placed on their well-being and dignity. The entire experience was well organised, educational, and truly special. Interacting with the elephants in such a respectful and ethical environment made it even more meaningful. We left with a deeper appreciation for these gentle giants and wonderful memories that we will cherish forever as it was my wife's 50th birthday aswell. We highly recommend the Elephant Sanctuary, monkey sanctuary and mini safari drive in Hartbeespoort to anyone looking for a unique, enriching, and memorable experience - Clint

We did the Elephnant / Monkey and Lion Park experice in 1 day. I absolutely loved the elephant experince the most out of the 3. I have always loved elephants and when my wife surprised me with this experience I was very happy. The experience itself proved more than I could imagine as it involved a lot of interaction and getting close to the animals. Being able to touch the elephants and receiving an elephant kiss was definately a massive highight for me. We also got the video package, which i would recommend for anyone wanting to do this experience. I want to thank the whole team for making my day so very special. The way in which the animals are cared for is also inpiring to see as those who work with them cleatly love their jobs. For anyone reading this and wondering if it is worth it, please just book it. If you love elephants, this is definately the experience to book. - Wynand

Unforgettably amazing. The guides are awesome. The tours are very informative. I would not hesitate to recommend this experience. My monkey experience guide, Sam, took my phone and gave me the best memories ever. Pictures and videos galore. The guides at the elephant experience do not hesitate to take pictures for you. There is a videographer who makes the most amazing video for you - put to music. I would do this again in a heartbeat. All the staff were wonderful. The shop has a great selection of treasures to take home. BEST DAY EVER !!!!! - Karen
