Customer Reviews

Fantastic! - Gerhard van Niekerk

Despite a somewhat confusing start to the tour (an elephant had escaped earlier in the day), the actual tour was incredible. We each got a chance to pet and feed an elephant, take plenty of pictures with the elephants and then fed a couple other elephants as well. The monkey sanctuary was also very exciting. There were hundreds of monkeys running around and many came very close to us, if not on our shoulders or heads! Be sure to leave all valuables in the lockers outside or the monkeys will try to snag your keys, wallets or cell phones! There is also a very cool hike/walk through the woods and across a really exciting wobbily bridge. After leaving the monkey sanctuary we took a short drive through the town and dam and stopped to take pictures around the dam on our way to the Cableway. The cableway had no line during the day on a weekday in April. There were several nice historical plaques at the top of the mountain along with some spectacular views. I would highly recommend this package for anybody looking for a half day activity while visiting the Johannesburg area. - Randy Meck

Thank you for the experiences. We love it!! - Mrs Theunissen

The elephant experience group was way to large causing problems with seating, i heard people signing up for the tour last minuut but you should realy put a limit on it, as it spoiled the experience a little because it extends waiting times and Also the video we got was so much focused on the others that we had 2 or 3 shots in total 10 seconds video time with my family of 4... While others where in the shots none stop. The monkey sactuary was great however. - Jan Esser

We learnt a lot about elephants and got opportunity to get close to them and interact. Even if they are familiar with visitors and quite well trained for interaction, it was a very interesting visit. - Christophe Deherre
